Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship with Netflix is about to turn sour, insiders claim.
As we previously reported, Harry and Meghan are producing a new documentary series as part of their $100 million development deal with the streaming giant.
So far, the couple’s documentary projects have yielded mixed results.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tense relationship with Netflix
His first Netflix series, simply titled Harry y Meghancaused quite a stir when it debuted in 2022.
However, the second project, which explored Harry’s participation in the Invictus Games, was not as popular or well received.
Netflix executives are understandably eager to protect their huge investment in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

And insiders say they are no I’m happy with Harry’s latest documentary series, it focuses on his love for the sport of polo.
Yes, in a twist no one could have predicted, images of rich guys chasing a ball on horseback are apparently not as fascinating as the interpersonal drama between members of the world’s most famous family.
According to a new report from The daily mailNetflix executives have seen a draft of the imaginatively titled Poloand they are not impressed.
In fact, a source says bosses are openly “disappointed” with the project, which is scheduled for release in December.

Harry puts his friend center stage
One big complaint is that Harry gets very little screen time in the documentary. Instead, the director chose to focus on one of Harry’s closest friends, professional polo player Nacho Figueroa.
“Apart from their documentary series, which had the drama of his resignation from the current family, everything else they have produced has been disappointing,” an insider, identified only as “a Hollywood producer,” told the newspaper. Mail.
“Any reasonable person watching a program about polo made by Prince Harry would expect Harry to take a starring role.”

“That it isn’t is hugely disappointing for Netflix. Let’s face it, polo isn’t exactly a mainstream sport, so the attraction would have been watching Harry. Without it, he is marginal at best,” the source continued.
“The deal with Netflix expires next year, so the Sussexes need a big hit. “This sounds like a great burger.”
The source adds that executives have dubbed the project “Nacho’s Present,” and it could well jeopardize Harry and Meghan’s careers as producers.

“What Netflix has received in return doesn’t seem like much. “People want personal things,” says the source.
“For a show about a sport of kings, polo hardly has royalty. It is not Harry’s present, it is Nacho’s present.”
We hate to criticize a series we haven’t seen, but as delicious as Nacho’s show sounds, we’d be much more interested in a project focused on Harry and Meghan’s personal life.
