Timothy Fancourt, the judge who decided in early March that the trial would start in May, said he believes Harry’s testimony should be part of the trial. Harry would have collected evidence about nearly 150 news articles that were created illegally between 1996 and 2010.
According to David Sherborne, one of Harry’s lawyers, the prince will be the only one who will plead his own case. So it seems that Harry himself will testify at the trial. It is very rare in recent British history for a prominent member of the royal family to do so.
