Prince Harry appears to be saying in a new Netflix trailer that members of the British royal family were willing to lie to protect his older brother William.
“They were happy to lie to protect my brother, they never meant to tell the truth to protect us,” Prince Harry says in the teaser. At one point, Meghan Markle adds, “I wasn’t thrown to the wolves, I was thrown to the wolves.”
Netflix will air the last three episodes of the documentary on Thursday Harry and Meghan from. The focus of the first three episodes of the highly anticipated series, which aired last week, was on how the pair were being treated by the British tabloids and how it affected their relationship.

No new attacks on the British royal family have been launched there, but in the new Netflix trailer it looks like that will be the case for the remaining three episodes. Prince Harry also uses the words “institutional manipulation”.
It’s not immediately clear who Harry’s attack is aimed at, but there is speculation that they are older members of the royal family.
“I wonder what would have happened if we hadn’t left, like we did,” Harry says too. Meghan added: “Our safety was compromised and everyone in the world knew where we were.” The final three episodes should mostly focus on Harry and Meghan’s departure from the UK.
No reaction
Buckingham Palace has said it will not comment on the series. Netflix says members of the royal family have declined to comment on the series itself, but a spokesperson says neither the palace nor representatives of Prince William or other members of the royal family have ever been contacted.
