Prince Harry has opened up about how his brother Prince William yelled at him during his bitter separation from the royal family. Harry made the admissions in the final episodes of the controversial Netflix documentary about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which was released today.
The fourth, fifth and sixth episodes of “Harry and Meghan” cover the couple’s challenges following their wedding in 2018, the Duchess of Sussex’s deteriorating mental health and her miscarriage in 2020, and finally their decision to resign working family members.
The current monarch’s son said he had initially called for a ‘half in, half out’ arrangement, in which he and his wife would have their own jobs but continue to do those in support of the queen, during a critical family meeting .
“But very quickly it became clear that this proposal was not up for discussion or debatesaid Harry.
She says her brother screamed, her father Charles spoke untruths, and the Queen was patiently silent.
“It was terrifying to have my brother yell at me and my father say things that just weren’t true while my grandmother sat there silently taking it all inshe said, recalling conversations with Prince William, then-Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth II.
Also in episode five, Harry says the decision to retire from royal duties was his, not his wife’s.
“It was actually my decision. She never asked to leave. It was I who had to realize the situation by myself. I’ve seen cartoons where I’m on all fours, she holds the leash and I the collar. As expected! The woman is responsible for the decision of a couple“, he also commented.
Harry hinted that there was jealousy from other royals towards Meghan given the amount of media attention she initially received. “Apparently the problem is that when someone gets married they steal the limelight or do the job better than someone who was born to do itHaz thinks.

“It upsets people. This upsets the balance. Because you’ve been led to believe that the only way your charities will succeed and your mission will thrive is if you’re on the front pages of these newspapers“, he adds.
The series also touches on Meghan’s deteriorating mental health and her miscarriage in July 2020. “I was pregnant. The first morning we woke up in our new house was when I miscarried,” Megan shared.
