In the second part of Harry and Meghan tells the couple the reason for their departure from the British royal family. It shows that Harry feels he is disadvantaged compared to his brother.
He even calls his family liars. “They were happy to tell a lie to protect my brother, but they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us.”
Meghan also throws her truth on the table. “I wasn’t thrown to the wolves, I was thrown to the wolves,” she says of the run-up to their departure from the UK. Meghan stresses that their security will be lifted at some point, so “everyone in the world would know where they were.”
“I wonder what would have happened to us if we hadn’t left,” Harry added. “I said, ‘We have to get out of here’.”
The second part of the documentary is visible on Netflix from next Thursday, December 15th. The docuseries is already one of the year’s top-grossing series for the streaming service, and it’s making the tongue go wild.
