The first episode of the documentary series The Me You Can’t See on Apple TV + about mental health and all the problems, secrets and misunderstandings that people still face in our modern society, stirred the spirits.
In the film, Oprah Winfrey interviews a number of celebrities who share their personal experiences. Among them are Prince Harry, Lady Gaga and Glenn Close. What Prince Harry shared in the first episode was considered another blow to the royal family.
“After my mother died, I abused alcohol and drugs. In London, I was constantly anxious, and some specific things reminded me of funeral moments when they carried her coffin before my eyes. And what did my father respond to all this suffering? He told William and me that he himself had suffered a great deal, and that the same fate probably awaited us. But that doesn’t make any sense ?! “Just because you’ve suffered doesn’t mean your children have to suffer,” Harry said.
