In recent days, the British media have published reports that Prince Harry has rented his own retreat in Los Angeles, where he escapes from his wife Meghan Markle. The representative of the Duke of Sussex is now denying this information, as reported by Page Six, for example.
Journal resources The Sun on Saturday claimed Harry, 38, has a private room “reserved” when he needs to be alone at a luxury hotel near his and Meghan’s home in Montecito, California. A representative and spokesperson for Harry said in a statement to the media that “It is not true”.
The paper also wrote that Harry – who has a four-year-old son Archie and a one-year-old daughter Lilibet with his wife Meghan Markle (41) – he reportedly flees to his “escape spot” at the San Vicente Bungalows, a private members’ club in Los Angeles with strict rules to protect its guests.

San Vicente Bungalows prioritizes the privacy of its exclusive guests through an extensive list of security procedures, including banning the use of cameras inside their devices. According to Page Six even they place stickers on guests’ phone cameras upon entry. In addition to strict rules, guests are reportedly prohibited from discussing what they see inside the exclusive club. They have too it is forbidden to approach other guests without their permission.
The annual fee in the exclusive club is 3,200 pounds (87,000 crowns) and applicants must be vetted by a committee that reportedly includes actress Julia Roberts.
The former royal couple, who quietly celebrated five years of marriage this Friday, are back in the spotlight since sparking controversy on May 16 due to an alleged “near-tragic” two-hour chase with paparazzi in downtown New York. Since the incident, the pair have come to the aid of the city’s mayor, Eric Adams, who said: “Obviously the paparazzi want to get the best shot, but public safety must always come first.“ The mayor also added that the two NYPD officers who were present at the chase “they could have been hurt”.
