Prince Harry celebrated his thirty-ninth birthday in the German city of Dusseldorf today, Friday, after eating distinctive dishes of pork and beer with his wife, Meghan, in a local pub.
Fans at the Invictus Paralympic Games for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women sang for the prince on Friday as he and Meghan watched a volleyball match and gave a good-humoured impression.
A spokeswoman for the beer company said on Friday that the famous couple came to the beer bar “Im Goldenen Kessel” on Thursday evening, completely unannounced and without a reservation.
“They were there without warning,” she added.
The Invictus Paralympic Games will conclude tomorrow, Saturday, with a closing ceremony. German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier is expected to attend the ceremony.
