Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have launched a new project in partnership with Netflix, continuing their multi-year deal with the streaming platform. The new project, titled Heart of Invictus, has just been released this Wednesday, August 30, and focuses on the Invictus Games, which were founded by Harry in 2014.
The Invictus Games are an international multi-sport event for wounded, injured and sick men and women, both serving and veterans of the British Army. Heart of Invictus takes viewers behind the scenes of the event in five different episodes.
The new documentary series follows a group of competitors from around the world, all service members who have experienced life-changing injuries or illnesses, on their way to the Invictus Games in The Hague.
The series accompanies the competitors as they train and shows their stories. It also follows the event organizers as they work to prepare for the Games alongside each nation’s team, supporting the competitors as well as their friends and family.
