It was a long time ago: On Saturday, Prince Harry (37) and Meghan Markle (40) will appear together again for the first time after leaving the royal family. The duke couple will take part in a “Global Citizen” event.
But the two won’t be the only stars in Central Park. Coldplay, Billie Eilish, Jennifer Lopez and many more will be there in New York. But not the only “Global Citizen” event will take place there. There will be a 24-hour live broadcast with events in Paris, London, Rio and Seoul, among others.
The aim of the events is to get rich countries to donate at least one billion corona vaccination doses to poorer people.
It won’t be the first time that Prince Harry has campaigned for a fair vaccine distribution. In May he appeared at a fundraising concert for the vaccination campaign and called for “fair distribution around the world”. One could not rest or really recover until that was achieved, said the prince at the time. His heavily pregnant wife Meghan Markle could not be at the concert.
