According to author Tom Bower, and his new book “Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors”, Harry and Meghan were “addicted” to reading about themselves in the media, but feared that their secrets would leak out, writes Us Weekly.
Must have called David Beckham
“Harry and Meghan were like chains. Every night they searched the internet to read the newspapers and see what the netizens posted on social media. In an irrational way, they fed each other’s frenzy about the media,” writes Bower, adding that the couple felt hit by even the mildest criticism.

But there is one person in particular the Duchess feared would leak private information to the press: the soccer lady Victoria Beckham (48).
According to Bower, Prince Harry called her husband, David Beckham (47), a number of times with accusations, which Beckham denied.

“Beckham’s denials destroyed their relationship,” writes Bower.
Neither the Beckham couple nor Harry and Meghan have commented on the matter.
Was at a royal wedding
While it’s unclear where the pair are today, the former footballer and the ‘Spice Girls’ star were guests at the royal couple’s wedding in 2018.
