Senior officials Taliban many people criticize Prince Harry who revealed that he killed 25 people during his military service in Afghanistan. Harry described it as “removing the pieces from the chessboard”.
The news agency reports it AFP extensionOn Saturday (7/1/2023), in his memoir due out next week, Harry revealed the exact number of people he killed while serving in Afghanistan.
“My number is 25. It’s not a number that makes me happy, but it doesn’t make me feel ashamed either,” wrote the British prince in a book called “Spare,” due out next week.
Anas Haqqani, a senior Taliban leader, criticized the Duke of Sussex for the remarks. He said the people Harry killed were Afghans with families.
“Master Harry! What you killed weren’t chess pieces, they were people,” Haqqani tweeted, accusing the prince of “war crimes.”
“The truth is what you say: our innocent people are chess pieces for your soldiers, military leaders and politicians.
“However, you have lost the ‘game,'” he wrote.
Government spokesman AfghanistanBilal Karimi also criticized Harry for his words.
“Such crimes are not limited to Harry but every occupied country has a history of such crimes in our country,” he wrote on Twitter.
