Prince George’s birthday: – New picture attracts attention

Today, Thursday 22 July, it is 8 years since Prince William (39) and Duchess Kates (39) became parents for the first time.

Prince George (8) was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in London, and shortly afterwards the duke couple stood on the hospital stairs to show the little one to the world.

The birthday itself they tend to celebrate with close family – but it is also not uncommon for them shares new photos for the occasion. They have done the same this year.

Surprises

Prince William and Duchess Kate have this year shared a new portrait of the birthday child, including on Instagram.

The photo, which was shared on Wednesday night, shows Prince George wearing a pair of blue shorts and a blue shirt with orange stripes, while the young prince smiles from ear to ear.

By the picture, the duke couple have written the following:

“Turns eight (!) Tomorrow.”

The followers have also used the opportunity to congratulate the young prince on the day, but several have also felt compelled to express their opinion.

The picture has in fact made more people open their eyes, and there is a seemingly unanimous comment field that believes that Prince George is strikingly similar to his father, Prince William, in the picture.

NOT LIKE DAD: Prince William was wearing a dark suit with long trousers – his first son, Prince George, on the other hand, was wearing shorts and long socks. According to experts, this is not without reason. Video: NTB Scanpix

“Looks like William,” one commented, followed by a red heart.

“Har is so similar to his dad,” another wrote.

“My God, look how much he resembles his father … and grandmother. Congratulations on the day, young prince! », A third has written.

“Looks more and more like his father,” writes a fourth.

Steal the show

With age also comes more responsibility – and more public appearances. This of course applies especially to the royal children, who will one day represent the throne and the country.

Prince George himself will take over the throne from his parents one day, and therefore has a whole life with royal duties and missions ahead of him. However, it may seem that the young prince starts early.

Earlier in July he appeared at the European Championship match at Wembley Stadium with his parents – and twice. The prince is an avid football fan, so it was probably not just work and toil for the now eight-year-old Prince George.

They have stole the show quickly when the camera lens first fell on him.

It was most sensational, though after England lost the European Championship final against Italy. Then there was a clearly marked Prince George to watch in the stands – a reaction that quickly spread like a plague on social media.

“Everyone in England right now,” a user wrote on Twitter, along with a photo of a clearly disappointed George.

“It’s OK, George. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. There will be more matches “, encouraged another.
