Prince George receives a shark tooth from David Attenborough

94-year-old Attenborough, a close friend of the British royal family, did not arrive empty-handed. He had brought a 23 million year old basking shark tooth especially from Prince George, which the biologist discovered during a trip to Malta in the late 1960s. George probably appreciated the present. William’s 7-year-old son is a big fan of Attenborough, according to his father, it became clear earlier this week.

William and Catherine have three children, seven-year-old Prince George, five-year-old Princess Charlotte and two-year-old Prince Louis.

David Attenborough: A Life On Our Planet is coming to Netflix soon. In it Attenborough talks about the impact of humans on nature.
