British Prince George turns 8 today. Traditionally, the holiday was celebrated by his parents – Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge Catherine, with a new photo.

The photo of Prince George was shared in the royal family ‘s account Instagram with a few emoticons and an exclamation mark to show surprise at how much the future king has grown. According to the Telegraph, the family plans to celebrate his birthday in private.
Prince George Alexander Louis was born on July 22, 2013 at St Mary’s Hospital in central London. He made his first public appearance just a day later, when his parents proudly introduced him to the world’s media on the hospital stairs. He is third on the British throne after his father William and grandfather Charles.
Royal commentators say the little prince learned that one day he would be king only months ago. His parents decided to save him this information so that he could have a peaceful childhood.
