Prince Charles: his goddaughter, India Hicks, reveals an incredible anecdote about her childbirth

This is an unusual anecdote. India Hicks, the goddaughter and first cousin of Prince Charles, posted a photo on Instagram on the occasion of the fourteenth daughter’s birthday Domino. In legend, the one who was bridesmaid at the wedding of Lady Di and the Prince of Wales recounted that on the day of her childbirth, as they were driving towards the hospital, she and her husband David Flint were arrested for speeding. The 54-year-old former model, who moved to the Bahamas with her boyfriend in 1996 before welcoming their five children, said David Flint was being questioned by police after his frantic run while she was hard at work in the back seat of the vehicle.

“14 years ago, very early in the morning of December 17th, David was arrested for speeding. Two beefy-looking cops asked him to get out of the car. He really had to go pretty fast“, writes the British designer and writer in the caption of her post.”‘You’re not going to believe it,’ David told police, ‘but my girlfriend is having a baby.‘They leaned over to look inside the car and of course, I was there struggling against a contraction, because Domino was on the right track“, she adds.

Referring to his four other children, Felix, Amory, Conrad and Wesley, all boys, India Hicks poursuit : “Now I’m pretty sure I was meant to be a mom of boys. I can’t imagine life without my four boys. I would miss all the toilet glasses up, the lost socks, the unimaginable silly things they do. I would even regret the daily responsibility of living in ‘CAMP KILL YOURSELF’. So when I finally gave birth to a girl, I couldn’t really believe it“, can we read on Instagram. Prince Charles’ goddaughter ends by saying:”This year, to celebrate her 14th birthday, we took a girls’ trip.“
