Prince Philip passed away at 99 years old. Queen Elizabeth’s husband was buried at Forth Bridge which is located west of Edinburgh city center, Wednesday (14/4).
As he wished, the Duke of Edinburgh did not wish to hold a state funeral. One aide mentioned that Prince Philip felt that he was not that important.
“He doesn’t consider himself important enough for that,” an aide said The Times.
In this funeral, turns out to be Queen Elizabeth II wanted his son, Prince Andrew to attend.
The 61-year-old man had resigned from public duties because he was a defendant in the Jeffrey Epstein pedophile case for 18 months.
Then when he was present at his father’s funeral, Prince Andrew asked the entire British Royal family to wear uniforms at the funeral.
Andrew’s request considered royal officials greatly cornered Harry. The reason is, Prince William’s younger brother could be the only person not wearing a uniform at Prince Philip’s funeral.
The reason is at the funeral the mother of Queen Elizabeth II in 2002, Prince Charles, Prince Andrew and Princess Anne wore uniforms from their respective agencies.
However, to date, it is not known whether all members of the British Royal Family will wear their respective agencies or not.
If it is the rule Prince Andrew wanted enforced, it is possible that Prince William will wear the uniform The Blues and Royals were used at Harry’s wedding in May 2018.
