Virginia Giuffre (now 38) accuses British Prince Andrew (61) of having abused her as a minor and is demanding compensation.
Of the Duke of York has petitioned a New York court to dismiss Giuffre’s abuse complaint. And his attorneys do everything they can to cast Andrew’s accuser in a bad light and portray it as greedy.
The alleged abuse victim said to have been “loaned” to Prince Andrew at the age of 17 by the US sex offender Jeffrey Epstein († 66). Andrew then sexually abused her several times, she was forced “against her will to sexual intercourse” with the prince.
In a 36-page motion to dismiss the US civil lawsuit, Andrew’s attorneys said, according to the Daily Mail about Virginia Giuffre: “She brought this unsubstantiated lawsuit against Prince Andrew to get money out of it.” Link to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein benefits.
The lawyers also referred to a story published in the US in 2015, which claimed that Giuffre had recruited young women for Epstein’s sex trade ring and referred to former friends who had described Giuffre as a “greedy sex chick” who made a lavish one Loved lifestyle.
Andrew’s lawyers also quoted a woman named Crystal Figueroa, allegedly the sister of one of Giuffre’s ex-boyfriends. She claims that she was asked by the prosecutor at the time if she could help her recruit underage girls for Epstein’s sex ring. With the words: “Do you know girls who are somehow slutty?”
Virginia Giuffre could well be a victim of Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse, Andrews lawyers said. “And nothing can excuse or even begin to grasp the abomination and gravity of Epstein’s monstrous behavior towards Giuffre, if that is the case.” But the Duke of York had “never sexually abused or assaulted Giuffre,” they emphasized.

Virginia Giuffre has benefited from her allegations against Epstein and others for over a decade by selling stories and photos to the press and making secret agreements to settle her claims against her alleged abusers, the court filing said.
“Most people can only dream of receiving the sums of money Giuffre has raised over the years,” said attorney Andrew Brettler. “This is a compelling motive for Giuffre to continue filing frivolous lawsuits against people like Prince Andrew.”

Giuffre’s attorney, Sigrid McCawley, opposed this in the Sunday Times: “Had Virginia Giuffre been silent, the decades-long sex trafficking ring that Andrew’s friend Jeffrey Epstein ran and in which he was involved would never have been exposed.”
On the subject of money, let it be clear: “The only party in this dispute who is using money to their advantage is Prince Andrew.”
