Over the past year, Prince Andrew, the third son of Queen Elizabeth, has kept a low profile entered into an agreement in the United States with a woman who claims to have committed several sexual assaults on her in 2001. She was 17 at the time and was a minor under American law.

Nor does the prince make any concessions in the joint statement the parties attached to court records, according to the Times. The amount that Prince Andrew will pay to Giuffre is confidential.

The deal came a few weeks before Prince Andrew was due to meet Giuffre’s lawyers and testify under oath.
Giuffre previously claimed that she was mistreated by the prince at the now deceased Epstein’s home in New York, on her private island in the Caribbean, as well as in a London apartment belonging to Epstein’s former partner. Ghislaine Maxwell (60).
