However, the first event will not be anything. Prince Albert is taking the children to the UN climate conference in Glasgow.
Think it’s the right time
Transfer People Prince Albert says that the twins want their own agenda.
– They have a holiday from school. I do not want to leave them alone in Monaco. This way, they will be with me before Charlene returns, Prince Albert tells People.
–
It will be a total of four days long trip, which will include visits to museums and other places that can be exciting for the six-year-olds.
– I think there is a lot of value and a lot of positive in their participation in the trip, he adds.
The prince is aware that he can not take the children to anything, as they will soon get bored at public events.
He will therefore slowly bring the twins into the public eye in the form of various ceremonies and performances.
If it is a trip, such as the trip to Glasgow, Prince Albert will add a public page during the visit, but also a private page where they can experience fun things together as a family.
Albert himself experienced this type of gradual entry into royal responsibility, as did his sisters, Princess Caroline (64) and Princess Stephanie (56), thanks to his parents Princess Grace and Prince Rainier.
– Our parents took us early on official trips, but it did not feel like it was official trips, he reminds People.
He remembers the parents alternating between participating in what he describes as serious things, and being with the children during the breaks. He has fond memories of this and will continue in his family.
Jacques and Gabriella are still at an age where there is a lot to discover on such trips, and the prince is looking forward to making new memories with the twins.

The twins are concerned about the environment
Although the children’s involvement during the climate conference itself is not certain, Albert feels that the importance of the trip will still not be lost for the twins.
That it is precisely the climate conference that will be the twins’ debut is probably not coincidental.
Like British Prince William (39) who recently revealed that his son, Prince George (8), has started to be “annoyed” by people throwing rubbish out, according to People, Albert shares his own anecdote about the moment he realized how his children took on the influence of humans on the environment.
As the family waited for a ferry to take them to the mainland, Gabriella saw a small piece of plastic at the water’s edge, turned to her father and asked:
–
– Dad, can I put it in the trash?
The father himself had not seen the plastic piece or commented on it, but the environment is a topic that is regularly raised at home and the children have participated in, among other things, World Clean Up Day, which is an annual global event to combat waste problems.
