Prime Video will premiere ‘COD3RS Championship’, a series about technology, Cloud and Artificial Intelligence | Technology

Powered by IBM, C0D3RS CHAMPIONSHIP will premiere on Prime Video and will show how developers from the region are changing the world with the use of the cloud and Artificial Intelligence, among other technologies.

This month, the screens of Latin America will be filled with technology, innovation, artificial intelligence, cloud, code and, above all, a lot of regional talent. Under this premise, IBM together with Ogilvy Argentina and the Argentine content producer, StoryLab, announce Cod3rs CHAMPIONSHIP, the first miniseries that seeks to inspire, empower and promote the impact of technology through programming.

It is a competition in which we will see how programming transforms our reality through innovative solutions that have a positive impact on our daily lives. With the driving of Bianca Comparato.

This series will show the world of developers and their main achievements generating disruptive solutions to different problems of daily life thanks to the use of IBM technology.

Through eight episodes available on the Prime Video platform, the miniseries allows us to meet some of the Latin American protagonists behind the code. They are men and women from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela. that put their knowledge to the test, while innovating with IBM technology to solve different real challenges in sectors such as banking, agriculture, education, automotive, among others.

“The labor market continues to evolve by leaps and bounds and, increasingly, it requires totally disruptive talent and skills to create a new world. For this reason, at IBM we continue to cultivate new sources of STEM talent in the region. We want to inspire people to create the future together, starting today. And in that, we all have a more than leading role”, said Tonny Martins, General Manager of IBM Technology for Latin America.

Cod3rs, opportunities on the agenda

The World Economic Forum estimates that in 2022 there will be 133 million new emerging jobs, the result of a new division of labor between people, computers and algorithms. Many of them will be better paid and less repetitive, but people will need a new set of skills to do them, because the world of code does not write itself.

“Just as stories are written in words, the future of innovation is written in code. That is the reason why we continue to promote Latin American talent so that, through technology, they can solve different problems in our region. At IBM, we are committed to developing these new skills and we promote various projects such as the Behind The Code Marathon, Call for Code and hackathons. We are convinced that innovation is achieved by great professionals working in an open and collaborative manner, and that we will continue to transform the world with code”, said Martins.

IBM works together with the entire innovation ecosystem to co-create effective solutions for different problems of society and business. IBM has continued to propel humanity into the future for 111 years.
