Counselor Muhammad Al-Homsani, spokesman for the Council of Ministers, said: The Prime Minister confirmed that the state is taking all measures to pump foreign exchange liquidity to control prices.

He pointed out that controlling commodity prices is a priority for the state, as the Prime Minister met with the heads of the Federation of Industries and Chambers of Commerce and the head of the Consumer Protection Agency to discuss the provision of goods and their prices.

He added during a phone call to the Happening in Egypt program, presented by journalist Sherif Amer, broadcast on MBC Egypt, on Tuesday evening: Representatives of manufacturers and merchants informed the Prime Minister of the lack of production inputs in the food commodities sector, noting that the Prime Minister stressed the importance of Controlling commodity prices in the markets after price fluctuations and unjustified increases.

He explained that producers and manufacturers will be obligated to set a maximum price limit on goods starting next March, stressing that the government has established an integrated and tight digital system concerned with monitoring goods and their availability at the republic level.
