The appointments include Florin-Marian Spătaru, Ruxandra Ivan, Nicolae Comănescu, Victoria Stoiciu, Carmen Orban, Minel Ivaşcu, Andrei-Ion Ungar, Mihaiela Frasineanu, and Eugen Constantin.

Florin Spătaru, who previously served as the Minister of Economy in the Ciucă Government, expressed his commitment to continue working with the government team as a state adviser in the Chancellery of Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu. In a Facebook post, Spătaru stated that he will collaborate with his colleagues from the Social Democratic Party to support strategic industrial sectors, reduce the trade balance deficit, and ensure secure supply chains in Romania.

In addition to the advisor appointments, Gabriela-Otilia Romaşcanu, the wife of former Minister of Culture Lucian Romașcanu, was appointed as the cabinet director of the prime minister within the Prime Minister’s Chancellery. She holds the rank of secretary of state.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu appointed Victor Negrescu and Bogdan Mazuru as honorary advisers to the prime minister. Negrescu will serve as a special representative of the Romanian Government for the promotion of memory policies and the fight against anti-Semitism and xenophobia.
