TRIBUNTANGERANG.COM, TANGERANG – First in Indonesia, Catherization Laboratory (Cath Lab) facilities with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology are present at Primaya Hospital Tangerang.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is useful for optimizing the fluoroscopy/cine & visualization process so that the procedure time is relatively shorter and reduces the risk of radiation received by both the patient and the operator team.
Cath Lab is useful for heart and blood vessel procedures, such as stent installation (heart ring) and coronary angiography.
Primaya Hospital Tangerang’s newest Cath Lab facility has implemented Artificial Intelligence (AI) with seven parameters which are useful for optimizing the use of radiation in fluoroscopy/cine procedures so that the radiation dose emitted is lower.
This technology makes it easier for operators to operate the tool, shortens inspection procedure time, as well as
allows the operator to change the image quality display mid-procedure.

Director of Primaya Hospital Tangerang, Dr. Jocelyn Adrianto, MARS, FISQua said the service center
Heart and blood vessels are one of the superior services.
“We provide comprehensive services with qualified technology and professional medical personnel,” said Jocelyn Adrianto.
Apart from that, there are also measures using other advanced technology such as Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) which is useful for seeing the condition of the coronary arteries in 3D and real time.
There is also a Rotablator which is used to scrape off hardened plaque in blood vessels, and can also be performed with a high level of difficulty such as heart surgery or Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG).
Cath Lab is a facility that can be used for various procedures and multi-specialists
and has been equipped with advanced supporting equipment.
These tools will help doctors more easily perform diagnostic and interventional procedures with minimal invasion.
