The seventh Primark store is coming to Italy. The Irish clothing company, with dozens of stores throughout Europe, is ready to open another store in the shopping center Le Gru di Grugliasco, a municipality in the metropolitan belt of Turin.

The shopping center in the Turin area would be ready to welcome the international retailer of items at competitive prices ranging from clothing to beauty products to home accessories.
“We are working for the opening” is the statement that would be filtered by the managers of the structure, confirming the inauguration. Inside “Le Gru”, work is already underway to prepare spaces and showcases of the Irish retailer.
The dates and details of the operation have not yet been established, with the inauguration currently suspended due to the difficulties due to the progress of theepidemic from coronavirus in Italy. But there would be no doubts about the project.
After Arese, Brescia, Campi Bisenzio, Rome, Rozzano and Verona, the multinational is planning to land not only in Piedmont, but also in Bologna (Shopville Gran Reno), Naples (Centro Campania) and Venice (Nave de Vero).
These new openings are part of an agreement Primark entered into with Klépierre, European leader of shopping centers, which foresees 7 new stores in France and Italy.

It remains to be seen whether those responsible for the inauguration, which it could also arrive within the year, will be able to manage participation in the event and avoid the gatherings that led to much controversy during the opening of the new “Maximo Shopping Center” in Rome.
On the occasion of baptism of the structure of 65 thousand square meters that hosts 160 stores last Black Friday, there were in fact long queues from crowds of customers just to not miss the first shopping inside the clothing store.

With the first shutter raised in 1969 in Dublin, Primark is present in the US and in Europe in 12 different statescounting 385 points of sale for a total of 16.5 million square meters. In 2019, the multinational achieved a turnover of 7.8 billion pounds, about 8.6 billion euros. Because of pandemic the balance sheet closed in September 2020 instead recorded revenues of 5.9 billion pounds.
