Jakarta –
Artist Prilly Latuconsina officially entered the ranks of the owner Tangerang City. The club has also confirmed it bought Persikota shares.
“Yes, he bought shares,” said Persikota Manager Mahdiar to Mr detikSport, confirmed the inclusion of Prilly Latuconsina as one of the owners of the club.
“Later we will tell you how much of the shares he bought in the preskon that we will hold. Not up to 50 percent, below that,” he added.
Mid June 2021, detikSport once met one of the owners of Persikota shares, namely Jalal Jalil. The former footballer in the 80’s owns 50 percent of Persikota’s shares, which means the majority owner. At that time Jalal Jalil also showed proof of his share ownership in Persikota.
Mahdiar himself has now confirmed that the Persikota shares that Prilly bought were not from Jalal Jalil. “I don’t know, what I know is that he (Jalal Jalil) owns (Persikota shares) and doesn’t understand the details. We have also invited him to support him. What Prilly bought was not Jalal Jalil’s shares,” said Mahdiar.
News of Prilly’s interest in Persikota has been widely circulated in recent times. The celebrity has often appeared in various Persikota activities, especially when holding routine exercises.
In particular, the closeness of Persikota and Prilly happened intensely after the 2020 AFF Cup. At that time, Prilly commented in posting a photo of the Indonesian national team on social media.
“Initially, when the national team played in the AFF Cup. We seized the opportunity and sounded it out to him. And it turns out that he is indeed a Tangerang person, God willing, he wants to help the club in his hometown. Born and raised in Tangerang,” said Mahdiar.
