That said, it began to circulate today on social networks that console prices may have risen to more than 6 thousand reais in Brazil, using as source RiHappy store, which is listing for R $ 6,499. In this case, it would not be a marketplace by listing the site, but sold and delivered by the store itself. In addition, the Xbox Series X appeared on Amazon today, also delivered and sold by the store, for a price of R $ 7,890, but soon disappeared.

With these points, rumors began to emerge that these would be the official prices of the new consoles in Brazil. But before everyone gets neurotic, let’s go to the other side of the story.
For the past few days, the PS5 has been in stock via the Amazon marketplace. THE PSX Brazil monitors its availability in the store daily and several times a day and it has been a long time since third-party stores have offered the Sony console for more than 6 thousand, almost reaching 7 thousand reais. In other words, as there is no stock and demand is high, the price of the console would obviously rise in stores that do not receive whole lots, such as Amazon or Submarino.

Furthermore, as for the Xbox Series X, the console was available at its usual price of $ 4,599 last Friday on Amazon.
Having clarified these points, we strongly believe that the prices that currently circulate at 6 or 7 thousand reais are just the few units that stores try to sell at a higher price due to the lack of stock – not that this is a new official price.
However, due to the high dollar and the market situation, it’s not impossible consoles suffer a change in price. But again, even in this situation, we cannot believe that it will be a readjustment of almost 2 thousand reais or even more than that.
So, at the end of the story, that’s what we always highlight in our PS5 stock news: if you’re looking for the console, get yours right away. Finding it again at the “tabulated” price may become increasingly difficult (due to the classic law of supply and demand) and not because of an official readjustment, but because of the absence of “official” stocks.
