Prices for gasoline and diesel fuel will decrease in Ukraine on March 18

First Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Denis Kudin announced a decrease in prices for gasoline and diesel fuel from tomorrow. He called the maximum cost of fuel at gas stations, which should be from March 18.

“From tomorrow, the price of diesel fuel in Ukraine is reduced by 5 hryvnia, that is, its cost should not exceed 40 hryvnia (per liter – ed.),” Kudin said.

According to him, gasoline prices will drop even more – it will fall in price by almost 8 hryvnia and should cost about 36 hryvnia.

“Gasoline will become cheaper by 7.76 hryvnia, and will become no more expensive than 35.76 hryvnia,” the deputy minister specified.

Kudin also assessed the preliminary damage from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. According to him, the losses are estimated at 565 billion hryvnia. This figure includes compensation to the military, the families of the victims and people with disabilities.
