Manufacturers from India, Okaya, officially released a new electric motor with the name Okaya Freedum.

What’s interesting, the price of this electric motorbike is actually cheaper than the Honda Beat bro!

The Okaya Freedum is an electric motorcycle designed for urban use.

This is what makes the dimensions of this electric motor look compact and simple.

Okaya claims this new electric motor is 100 percent locally developed in India.

The appearance of this Okaya Freedum electric motorbike has a look like an automatic motorbike in general.

The bike has one-piece LED headlights on the front shield flanked by LED DRLs on both sides.

While the turn signal is placed on the shell or handlebar cover.

Okaya Freedum is equipped with two models with different battery types, there are VRLA lead acid batteries and Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries.

For propulsion, it is powered by a 250W BLDC hub motor which has a top speed of 25 km/h.

The Lithium-ion battery pack offers a maximum range of 70-80 km.

While the Lead Acid battery offers a peak range of 50-60 km on a single charge.

Lithium battery packs take 4-5 hours to fully charge and 8-10 hours for Lead Acid batteries or wet batteries.

Okaya Freedum’s features on offer include a digital instrument panel, wheel lock, anti-theft alarm, regenerative braking system, and forward/reverse modes.

The electric bike has a tubular frame, with telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear.

Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.

Talking about prices, Okaya Freedum is officially launched with a starting price of Rs 69,900 or around Rp. 13.4 million.

Obviously cheaper than the price of the Honda Beat which is sold from Rp. 16,665,000 for OTR Jakarta.

Wow, if this electric motorcycle was sold in the country, would it be sold at a cheap price too, bro?
