“Prices at Tsarska Bistritsa Palace Cafeteria in Rila Shock Bulgarian Visitors”

In the establishment in Rila, which could set exorbitant prices, welcome in the traditional way

These are certainly the cheapest drinks you can buy in an establishment of this kind in Bulgaria.

Coffee or tea – 1 BGN. Cola and Fanta – BGN 2.50 each, “Kapi” juice – BGN 2, and beer is of two types – from BGN 2 to BGN 2.50. Such is the price list of the cafeteria in the “Tsarska Bistritsa” Palace in Rila.

The prices were recorded by the former minister of energy and energy resources in the government of Simeon Saxe-Coburg (2001-2005) Miroslav Sevlievski. Sevlievski posted photos on his personal Facebook, taken with the former Tsar and Prime Minister of Saxe-Coburg and his wife Dona Margarita, Flagman writes.

It can be seen that the three are in the corridor of “Tsarska Bistrica” - the first significant property that Saxe-Coburg was able to take from the state with a court decision, and apparently at the moment his family is in their rightful inheritance.

Simeon II fought a 10-year battle to regain this legacy in 2020.

It was the property where he and his sister Maria Luisa saw their father Tsar Boris III for the last time before his tragic death.

Simeon continues the legal battle for the “Vrana” palace itself and another 16,500 decares of forest in Rila. He lost the cases for the “Sargyol” and “Sitnyakovo” palaces, as well as for the “Krichim” palace.

Simeon seems to have forgiven Miroslav Sevlijewski for his infidelity when he split with a group from the Simeon Second National Movement (NDSV) and formed a group in the parliament “New Time” with which he created a party for the 2005 elections.

It can be seen that the two former politicians have remained close.

The palace in Rila is heated by a Siemens water power plant, built more than 100 years ago and which has never been repaired before.

The palace, although returned to the crown prince, is still open to any citizen who wants to explore its museum part and rest in the cafeteria.
