U may not have noticed because hardly anyone has written about it. That’s why here: prices are no longer rising in Belgium. They descend. Not much, but still. In December, life was 0.16 percent cheaper than in November. And in November again 0.23 percent cheaper than in October. In concrete terms: if life cost 100 euros in October, it was still 99.61 euros in December. Agreed: those 39 cents won’t make a difference. But if the trend continues in the coming months, we can keep more money in our wallets.
