Prices and specifications for Redmi 12C, cellphones under Rp. 2 million with AI cameras

The new series from Xiaomi, Redmi 12Creleased with features that are claimed to be decent for cellphone with a price below IDR 2 million.

“Redmi 12C is the ‘Most Worth It’ smartphone choice that offers the best performance and specifications under the price of 2 million rupiah,” he was quoted as saying in a Xiaomi press release, Thursday (9/3).

Xiaomi said Indonesia was the first country to present Redmi 12C after its global launch on March 8 2023.

Some of the latest features offered include a 50 MP camera with AI technology, a large screen and a long battery life.

One of its flagship features is the 50MP main camera with f/1.8. With specs like this, the Redmi 12C is said to be able to capture light well to produce clear and sharp images in minimal lighting conditions.

Meanwhile, the front camera is 5MP selfie camera f/2.2.

For the battery, the Redmi 12C has a capacity of 5,000mAh which supports 10W fast charging. It is supported by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor and outputs performance up to 2.0 Hz which can maximize battery life.

In terms of security, the Redmi 12C offers Rear Fingerprint and Face Unlock features. Xiaomi also said that the Redmi 12C provides software updates for 3 years “to ensure optimal smartphone performance and security in the long term”.

Xiaomi said that the first sales of this cellphone started on Friday (10/3) both online, namely at Mi.com, Xiaomi Official stores in various marketplaces, and offline at the Xiaomi Store, Xiaomi Shop, Erafone.
