Price-Specifications for Samsung Galaxy A15 5G Appear on Ecommerce

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Samsung is preparing to launch cellphones in the middle class segment of the Galaxy A and M series. Several are already busy milling about on the internet.

Most recently, the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G appeared on the e-commerce site belonging to the US supermarket chain, Walmart. The site has included a list of specifications and prices for affordable cellphones from Samsung.

Quoted from Gizchina, Monday (27/11/2023), the Galaxy A15 5G will be priced at US$ 139 or the equivalent of Rp. 2.1 million for an internal storage capacity of 128GB. The color variants are blue and black.

This price benchmark can be said to be pocket-friendly for cellphone options that support 5G networks. It seems that Samsung wants to emphasize its position as a brand with a strong product portfolio in various segments.

Leaked specifications for the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G

On the Walmart website, the Galaxy A15 5G is said to have a 6.5-inch screen with 1080p resolution and a high refresh rate. The chipset relies on MediaTek Dimensity 6100+.

The chipset has 2X Arm Cortex-A76 cores which have speeds of up to 2.2 GHz. Additionally, there are 6X ARM Cortex-A55 cores that have speeds of up to 2GHz.

With this performance, the Galaxy A15 5G should be reliable for daily needs such as accessing social media without any interruption.

Playing heavy mobile games requires graphic adjustments. Meanwhile, the majority of casual games should be able to be played smoothly.

In terms of photography, the Galaxy A15 5G is equipped with a 50MP resolution main camera paired with a 2MP quality macro camera for image depth.

For selfies and video calls, this cellphone relies on a 13MP resolution camera.

The battery capacity of the Galaxy A15 5G is said to be quite large, 5,000 mAh. The battery also supports standard 25W fast charging.

Until now there has been no official announcement from Samsung regarding the launch of the Galaxy A15 5G or 4G variant. However, various leaks that have been circulating indicate that the South Korean manufacturer will make it official in the near future.

In a similar price segment, several other Android cellphone manufacturers have also prepared ‘ammunition’. For example, Xiaomi with the Redmi A2+, and Realme with the V50 series.
