I wanted to bring up this particular topic after sharing a meeting with some old Warcraft fan friends from the very beginning.
Blizzard and WoW is a recurring theme in our meetings and this time in particular we discussed how difficult it is for a Uruguayan to access Blizzard products, especially WoW since it is a subscription game.
It is interesting to note that Blizzard already has private and special prices for other countries, as is the case of the neighboring country and Argentina.
In this 2020 (which is fortunately ending) the dollar is very high for us and the economic situation of the country and the world is not the best. When chatting about these issues with my friends, they expressed that they would be willing to return to the game if prices were not so high for us and if there was a treatment similar to that of Argentina.
I would like to know why Blizzard does not decide to make this type of decision for Uruguay, if it is an issue that we are a small market or if there are bureaucratic or financial obstacles that do not make it possible.
I really want to see a party made up of those friends one day. Do you think this is possible? Do you know of similar cases in other Latin American countries?
