Mexico City. Today Friday June 26, 2020 the dollar listed on $22.82 pesos, according to the investing.com platform. This represents a difference of just 9 sales in favor of the peso compared to yesterday’s opening of 22.91 units.
During the day yesterday, the exchange rate ended this Thursday at 23.03 pesos per dollar for sale and 22.04 for purchase at Citibanamex, a gain of 10 cents for the national currency, amid the reduction in the reference rate of the Banco de México (Banxico).

Yesterday, the Banxico Governing Board unanimously decided to lower the target for the overnight Interbank Interest Rate to 50 percent by 50 basis points.
For Banco Base analysts, in the coming months the central bank is expected to continue with the cuts, due to the economic slack.

Regarding the exchange rate in the different banks in Mexico, the price of the dollar reaches its highest level for sale in the $ 23.60 in Affirme, while the lowest to purchase is in $ 21.20 and Ban Region.
Regarding euro, it is quoted at $ 25.61 pesos, for $ 28.62 pesos from the pound sterling overall average.
