Existing owner-occupied homes were 9.6 percent more expensive last month than a year earlier. It is the fifth consecutive month that the price increase has stabilized. In August, the increase was 11.9%, according to data from Statistics Netherlands and the land registry on Monday.
Prices of existing home ownership reached a low in June 2013. There has been an upward trend since then. Prices have not increased further in recent months. Compared to the low of June 2013, prices in September were still 97.6% higher.
In addition, the land registry recorded 17,631 real estate sales in September, an increase of 0.3 percent compared to last year. In the first nine months of this year, 141,758 homes were sold, more than 18% less than in the same period in 2021.
