Price comparison: Daihatsu Terios vs. Honda BR-V, Mitsubishi Xpander Cross, Toyota Rush, Suzuki XL-7 and DFSK Glory 560 in Indonesia

The new Daihatsu Terios officially launched in Indonesia. This 7-seater low SUV (LSUV) competes with the Honda BR-V, Mitsubishi Xpander Cross, Toyota Rush, Suzuki XL-7 and DFSK Glory 560. The following is a price comparison.

The new Daihatsu Terios gets a lot of refreshment on the exterior and features. The vehicle is now sportier thanks to the new grille, bumper and rim designs. Then there are lines that make it appear fresher.

Not only changes in appearance, the new Daihatsu Terios also gets many new features, starting from a multimedia screen that can be connected to a smartphone via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charger and SRS airbags. Old features such as the Around View Monitor, key free entry, and ABS & EBD are also maintained.

The price of the New Daihatsu Terios has been officially announced. The new Daihatsu Terios comes in three different variants, namely X, R and R custom. Meanwhile, the price starts from IDR 236.05 million to IDR 303.25 million with Jakarta on the road status.

If you look at the price range, the Daihatsu Terios is still the cheapest 7-seater LSUV in Indonesia. As a comparison, the price of LSUV approaching the Terios is the Suzuki XL-7. The car was sold from IDR 254.8 million to IDR 292.7 million.

Then the Honda BR-V. The car, which has received the All New status since September 2021, now costs from IDR 287.8 million to IDR 355 million. The top variant is equipped with the Honda Sensing active safety feature.

Another LSUV model that already uses a turbo, namely the DFSK Glory 560. This car only has one Type L (1.5T) CVT option which sells for IDR 275.9 million. This makes it the only 7-seater LSUV with a turbo engine with a tag of under IDR 300 million.

The LSUV that often gets refreshments, namely the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross. The last time it received new status was at the 2022 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show. In appearance, the New Xpander Cross still carries the Mitsubishi Dynamic Shield concept. It’s just that, there are a number of updates in the T-shape headlamp, bumper design, rims, LED fog lamp, grille, and refined wheel arc molding.

Not only that, Mitsubishi also equipped the New Xpander Cross with various new features, such as micron air filtration which can maintain air quality in the cabin, enhanced LCD cluster design, and active yaw control (AYC). Now Xpander Cross is sold for IDR 316,750,000 to IDR 342,650,000.

Toyota Rush, the twin of Daihatsu Terios, apparently has not received New status. Now the Toyota Rush has a price tag ranging from IDR 280.2 million to IDR 303.6 million.
