Priante (Enit), sustainability and innovation pillars of tourism

(ANSA) – NAPLES, APRIL 03 – “You are working on the two pillars of the renewal of tourism, but in general of the economy and life of our planet, which are sustainability and innovation”. Alessandra Priante, Enit president, said this in a video message at the ‘MEET Forum – Sustainable Tourism’, scheduled today and tomorrow at the National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa between Portici and Naples. “These are pillars that find a very important application for Italy and Italy can become a very interesting territory for experimenting with good practices that we can also share with the rest of the world” continued Priante. “It is clear that environmental, social and economic sustainability have become more than a challenge, a sort of mantra on which we must all become protagonists, first of all us, but obviously the entire connection network which obviously involves the territories, the institutions, us citizens and those who govern us. Environmental sustainability is not the only great challenging element we have for the future. Social sustainability is certainly absolutely fundamental at this moment: social sustainability means the inclusion of communities, the inclusion of territories in all strategic discussions.” (HANDLE).
