Prevost MTA Contract: 250 Coaches Ordered with Potential for More, Boosting Quebec’s Economy

The MTA contract stipulates a firm order for 250 coaches to be delivered between 2025 and 2026, as well as options to purchase an additional 131 coaches, in addition to parts and service.

This contract will make it possible to retain employees and hire nearly 150 new ones in Sainte-Claire, in the Bellechasse region, from 2024 thanks to the acceleration of the company’s production rate in the months to come .

Stimulate Quebec know-how

For the president of Prevost, François Tremblay, this contract will allow the company to consolidate its position as leader in the North American market on the eve of its 100th anniversary.

The minister responsible for the Chaudière-Appalaches region, Bernard Drainville, was present during the announcement and took the opportunity to display his pride in Prevost, who, according to him, acts as an ambassador for all of Quebec.
