Jakarta –
Second round FIBA World Cup 2023 will be held this weekend. In Jakarta, a ‘hell group’ is created which is filled with four tough countries that will fight each other to fight for a place in the quarter-finals.
The Indonesia Arena will present the second round of the FIBA World Cup 2023, Group L to be precise, on September 1 and 3. The participants are the two best teams from Group G (Spain and Brazil) and Group H (Canada and Latvia).
In this phase, two teams from the same group will not face each other, so each country will only appear twice against countries from other groups.
For example Canada. They will only meet Brazil and Spain in the second round. They no longer need to fight Latvia, because they have met in the group stage.
Why so? Therefore, the results in the first round also counted. So, the start of each team will be different. Canada, which has won three times in the group stage, clearly has better capital than Brazil, which has only won twice.
Even so, each team still has a great chance to qualify. The two teams with the best points from five matches will be entitled to advance to the last eight.
It will be interesting to wait for who will become the ‘representative of Jakarta’ to advance to the quarterfinals of the FIBA World Cup 2023 which will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay starting September 5.
