Arsenal will fight Tottenham Hotspur this weekend. Mikel Arteta be wary of Ange Postecoglou’s The Lilywhites.
At the Emirates Stadium, Sunday (24/9/2023), Arsenal vs Tottenham took place. Under Postecoglou’s tutelage, Spurs showed improved performance.
So far, Spurs have played five matches in the Premier League. As a result, Spurs recorded four wins and one draw.
Arsenal also recorded similar results. Together with Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs recorded 13 points. Only Manchester City collected better points with a collection of 15 points.
“This match doesn’t need motivation, this is the biggest match of the season,” said Arteta on the BBC.
“They have a new manager who has done very well and has changed the atmosphere around the club. He has also brought a new style and we have to adapt,” he added.
In the north London derby last season, Arsenal was able to win home and away. At home, Arsenal won with a score of 3-1 over Spurs. Meanwhile at Spurs’ home, Arsenal won with a score of 2-0.
Arsenal once slipped at home this season. In three matches, they recorded two wins and one draw. A draw was obtained during the London derby against Fulham.
