Yellow fever is a viral infection that is transmitted through the bite of some species of mosquitoes. It has no specific treatment, but there is a vaccine to prevent it. The dose is indicated to all people living or traveling a zones where there is evidence of persistent or periodic transmission of this virus.

In Argentina, it is required to have this immunization to travel to the provinces of Misiones and Corrientes.

Vaccine for travelers is recommended from 9 months of age up to and including 59 yearsy must be applied at least 10 days prior to the trip so that people are properly protected.
