Jakarta (ANTARA) – Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Dr. Ari Fahrial Syam, SpPD, KGEH, MMB, FINASIM, FACP said that young adults are advised to avoid a sedentary lifestyle to prevent pancreatic cancer.
“To be honest, this sedentary or unhealthy lifestyle seems to be a trend. Young people eat foods high in fat, for example steak, drinking alcohol regularly, smoking has also become a culture, obesity and often unconsciousness. “That’s a risk of developing pancreatic cancer,” said Ari in an online discussion with the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) which he attended from Jakarta, Friday.
