SENTRALONE.ID | NAW – Facing the rainy season, various problems can arise, one of which is the problem of dengue fever caused by the bite of the Aides Aigepty mosquito. In order to suppress the spread of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) at the Ngrambe Police, the Ngawi Police collaborated with the local Health Center to carry out fogging activities in Ngadirejo Hamlet, Cepoko Village, Ngrambe District, Thursday (31/3/2022).
According to the Head of the Ngrambe Police, IPTU Sukoco, SH fogging is a way to eradicate or suppress the spread of the adult Aedes Aegypti mosquito that causes dengue hemorrhagic fever.
“This activity is a synergy between the three pillars and related agencies with community leaders in anticipating or suppressing the spread of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF),” explained IPTU Sukoco.
Furthermore, IPTU Sukoco said that in several districts in East Java, there were already cases of dengue fever. For this reason, his party immediately took preventive steps before the Ngawi Regency area was also attacked by DHF.
“We are taking steps to cooperate with puskesmas and village officials to prevent dengue fever by fooging in residential areas,” explained IPTU Sukoco.
Meanwhile, Ngawi Police Chief AKBP I Wayan Winaya, SIK through PS. Head of Public Relations of Ngawi Police Iptu Supomo confirmed the existence of dengue prevention activities by the Ngrambe Police, which is part of the Ngawi Police.
“It’s true, the activity report was also received by the Head of the Resort Police yesterday, Thursday (31/3/2022) and was appreciated by him,” said Iptu Supomo at the Ngawi Police Public Relations, Friday (1/4/2022).
IPTU Supomo added that in this activity the Ngrambe Police also socialized to the community to maintain cleanliness by draining, closing and reusing waste water. Iptu Supomo also appealed to community members, especially those in the Ngawi Regency area to always maintain cleanliness in their respective environments.
