The child with the initials AB is a resident of Central Ketungau District, Sintang District, was declared dead on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 02:34 with the diagnosis of Dengue Shock Syndrome (DSS).
The child with the initials AB, aged 5 years was rushed to Ade M Djoen Sintang Hospital because he was attacked by Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). But his condition could not be helped.

Against these conditions, Head of Health Service West Kalimantan Province, Harisson reminding residents to be diligent in cleaning the surrounding environment, both inside and around the house.
He hopes that there are no places that allow mosquitoes to breed.
“If you have a fever, children must be immediately taken to health care places to get treatment,” he told the Pontianak Tribune, Monday, January 10, 2021.
