TULUNGAGUNG – To prevent the outbreak of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) caused by the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito, the Tulungagung Police took part in the PSN 3M Plus action, exterminating mosquitoes ahead of Eid.
This action was carried out by the Tulungagung Police Health Service in collaboration with Bhayangkara Tulungagung and the Tulungagung Health Service, targeting the Police Station, official residence and surrounding areas.
Tulungagung Police Chief AKBP Teuku Arsya Khadafi SH, SIK, M.Si, through the Head of Public Relations, Inspector Mujiatno, said that the fogging activity at the Tulungagung Police Department was carried out with the aim of preventing the community from contracting the dengue fever outbreak.
“The National Police, especially the Tulungagung Police, will continue to make efforts to prevent and eradicate the spread of the dengue fever outbreak in the Tulungagung district,” he said, Monday (08/04/2024).
3M Plus PSN Action, Exterminate Mosquitoes Ahead of Eid by fogging the Tulungagung Police Station, apart from that also with 3M plus & administering larvicide (ABATIZATION).
“The first 3 M is to drain water reservoirs regularly so that there are no mosquito larvae. Apart from that, don’t forget to clean places that are flooded with water. Second, close water reservoirs to prevent the Aedes aegypti mosquito from breeding. Third is to bury things. used goods that can be used to grow mosquito larvae,” he continued.
“We appeal to the public, don’t forget to eradicate mosquito nests (PSN) and larvae once a week,” he said. (approval)
