The reason is that breast cancer attacks in girls aged 9 to 14 years must be expected early. One is through the administration of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine.

He admitted that many parents do not know the effects of the virus at the moment. Therefore, the local government through the Berau Health Service (Dinkes) must be involved in providing access.

“HPV is contagious. “So parents must protect and protect their daughters from the virus,” he explained.

Not only parents, Ratna asked teachers in schools to provide education about the virus to students, especially girls.

Education is important so that students are trained to be able to care for and maintain their health well.

“It is not only the work of health workers to spread the importance of the HPV vaccine, but also schools and other institutions,” he said.
