CUPERTINO – iPhone 15 which will be launched next year is rumored to start using USB-C. This extreme step was taken by Apple in response to pressure from the European Union.
It is known, the European Union is currently actively campaigning for the use of the same port for all devices. It aims to reduce cable waste.

The European Union says that if Apple insists on using a lightning cable, Android users who want to switch to Apple products or vice versa will have to buy a new cable.
This will harm the environment. It’s different if all compact devices use cables of the same type. So no matter how many times you switch to a different device, you will still use the same cable.
As reported by The Verge, Tuesday (7/6/2022), next week the European Union and other European countries will finalize laws requiring the use of USB-C.
European Union countries and EU lawmakers will meet to discuss and pass the rules, which would eventually unify charging phones, tablets and headphones.
Although Apple initially opposed the policy, now the technology giant from the United States has started to soften.
In the future, Apple will provide products with USB-C for the European market or make all products in the world using the USB-C port. After all, the USB-C port will come first, sooner or later.
