Cristiano Ronaldo was left with a minor injury when United beat Aston Villa 1-0 on Monday night, but was back in training on Thursday.
Now, however, The Sun, including United journalist Neil Custis, writes that the star striker failed to complete the training. He apparently had to give up with a thigh injury, and was checked by the doctors before he left Carrington early on Thursday.
He is now therefore considered insecure for Saturday’s league match against Aston Villa.
Manager Ralf Rangnick meets the press at 14.00 Scandinavian time on Friday, and will probably then come up with an update on Ronaldo and the rest of the player group.

Ronaldo has also spoken to international media this week, where he goes to great lengths to suggest that he is struggling to get through with his advice to younger United players.
