The Athletic dedicated a few words in an article to the captain y midfielder of the Mexican National Teamemphasizing the injury that kept him out all summer.
‘Álvarez has yet to regain the form he showed in his debut 2023-24 season. He hasn’t fit in with his new teammate, Guido Rodriguez in the midfield and his lack of discipline has not improved,’ they commented.
‘He has been booked in the club’s last three games, as well as having received the most yellow cards (11) of any West Ham player last season,’ they concluded.
